Tirupati SolarTech(“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a solar EPC company operating from 3-12, Vaikunthapuram, MR Palli, Tirupati-51702, Andhra Pradesh, India. This Privacy Policy applies to (a) our website www.tirupatisolartech.in, (b) our mobile application, and (c) all related services we provide, including site surveys, quotations, installations, referrals and after-sales support.

By using our website, mobile app or services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:

2.1 Information you provide to us

  • Account information: your name, mobile phone number, email address, username and password (stored in encrypted form), and address details.
  • Service information: details of your solar enquiry, site survey, quotation, order and installation, including property and load details you share with our team.
  • Referral information: referral codes you share, the details of referred customers, and reward balances related to our referral programme.
  • Communications: records of enquiries, complaints and support requests you raise with us over phone, WhatsApp, email or through the app.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information such as device model, operating system, app version and crash reports, used to keep the app stable and compatible.
  • Basic usage analytics to understand how our website and app are used, in an aggregated and anonymised form.

3. How we use your information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account, and to verify your identity during registration using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number.
  • To process your solar enquiry, schedule site surveys, prepare quotations, and coordinate installation and commissioning.
  • To operate the referral and rewards programme, including tracking referrals and processing eligible rewards.
  • To communicate with you about your service requests, appointments, installation status and other updates.
  • To provide customer support and resolve complaints.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • To secure our services, prevent fraud and misuse, and safeguard our rights and the rights of our users.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal information on the following lawful bases:

  • Consent
  • Performance of a contract
  • Legitimate business interest
  • Legal obligation

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Infrastructure and messaging providers for hosting, database, SMS (OTP verification) and email delivery.
  • Our own employees and authorised partners who need the information to provide our services to you.
  • Government authorities where required by law, court order or regulatory requirement.

We remain responsible for the protection of your information shared with our service providers and require them to process it only for the purposes we specify, in accordance with this policy.

6. Data security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and secure storage of credentials. Please note that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to provide our services, and to comply with legal and accounting obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal obligations.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your information in a portable, structured format where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within a reasonable time and, in any case, within the period required by applicable law.

8. Account deletion and data requests

You can permanently delete your account and the personal data associated with it. Deletions are processed automatically:

  • From the mobile app: open Profile → Settings → Account Information, tap Delete my account and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This removes your profile, enquiries, site visit requests, quotations, referral and reward records, payout details and in-app notifications.
  • By email: write to us at chakry@tirupatisolartech.infrom the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion, usually within 7 days.
  • On the website: our delete-account page explains the exact steps and the information you may need to provide.

When you delete your account, we erase or permanently anonymise the personal information we hold about you, except where we are required to retain limited records by law or for accounting purposes (for example, invoicing and payout history required for tax compliance).

Referral records created by other customers that merely reference your mobile number are anonymised so that no personal identity remains attached to them.

9. Cookies and website use

Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the website to function, and limited analytics to understand site usage. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the website may then not function as intended.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

Our website and app may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
