1. Project stages
Every project follows the same sequence, whether it is a 1 kWp home system or a larger commercial or industrial plant:
- 1. Enquiry and site survey — we assess your load, roof structure, shading and access; typically completed within 1–3 working days of your enquiry.
- 2. Design and quotation — we prepare a system design and quotation for your review; typically issued within 2–5 working days of the survey.
- 3. Order confirmation — on your approval, we confirm the order, schedule procurement and finalise the installation date.
- 4. Approvals and permits — we prepare and file applications for net-metering and any required approvals with the relevant DISCOM and authorities. This stage is entirely dependent on the approving authority and typically takes between 2–8 weeks.
- 5. Procurement and dispatch — modules, inverters, mounting structures and balance of system are procured and dispatched to site; typically 5–12 working days after order confirmation.
- 6. Installation and commissioning — our certified team installs the system, wires it, connects it and commissions it. A typical residential installation is completed in 2–5 working days; larger systems take longer.
- 7. Net-metering and handover — once the DISCOM completes the meter installation and connection, we hand over the system with documentation and warranty details.
2. Delivery of equipment
Equipment is delivered to your site by our logistics partners. We will coordinate the delivery window with you in advance. Please ensure access for the delivery vehicle and that someone is available to receive and acknowledge the equipment.
We recommend that equipment be inspected at delivery. Any transit damage or shortage should be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery so that we can initiate a replacement.
3. Factors that may affect the timeline
- Speed of approvals from the DISCOM, government bodies or subsidy portals, which are outside our control.
- Unforeseen site conditions such as roof access, structural reinforcement or rewiring requirements.
- Weather and seasonal conditions affecting rooftop work.
- Availability of specific equipment models or components.
- Changes to the system configuration requested after order confirmation.
4. Communication and updates
We keep you updated on the status of your project through our team, phone, email and the mobile app. If any stage is delayed beyond the indicative timeline, we will inform you with the reason and a revised estimate.
5. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including grid outages, natural disasters, strikes, regulatory holds, supply-chain disruptions or government action. In such cases, timelines will be extended reasonably and we will keep you informed.
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
