How it works

Assumptions behind the numbers

Our estimates are based on real Tirupati conditions and updated as market prices change.

Units per kWp

4.1 kWh/day

Average daily generation per kWp installed in Tirupati's solar-rich climate.

Grid tariff

₹9/unit

Assumed electricity tariff used to back out consumption from your bill.

Degradation

0.6%/yr

Expected annual performance loss of quality modules over 25 years.

Tariff escalation

3%/yr

Assumed long-term rise in electricity tariffs used in lifetime savings.

These figures are indicative estimates for planning purposes. Your exact system size, savings and payback depend on roof area, shading, orientation, usage patterns and the current market rate for your property type.

System size depends on your monthly consumption, roof area, shading and budget. As a starting point, divide your monthly electricity bill by ₹9 per unit to estimate monthly usage, then allow roughly 1 kWp of solar for every 120–150 kWh of monthly consumption. A detailed site survey gives you an accurate recommendation.

A typical residential rooftop system is installed in 5–7 days. Commercial and industrial projects vary with size and site conditions; you will get a clear project schedule before work begins.

Solar systems need very little routine maintenance — mainly periodic cleaning of panels and a check of connections and monitoring data. Many customers choose our annual maintenance plan for scheduled cleaning, inspection and priority service.

Quality PV modules typically carry a 25–30 year performance warranty. Inverters usually carry around 10 years, and other components 5 years. Your system is designed to keep generating for decades with minimal maintenance.

An on-grid system exports surplus power to the grid and draws from it when needed — you need a net meter and grid connection. A hybrid system adds battery storage so you can use stored power during outages. Our survey will recommend the right configuration for your needs and budget.

Yes. Commercial installations can reduce your operating costs and offer GST input credit and depreciation tax benefits. Daytime consumption is offset directly by solar generation, lowering your billed units.
