1. Quality and product standards

Our installations are designed and supplied in line with applicable Indian standards and best practices for grid-connected rooftop solar systems. We use:

  • Solar modules and components that conform to applicable Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) requirements and relevant IEC standards.
  • Inverters and balance-of-system components from established manufacturers with appropriate certifications.
  • Mounting structures engineered for the roof type and designed for the wind and loading conditions of the region.

2. Regulatory compliance

We comply with the regulations that apply to our business, including:

  • Energy regulations and net-metering policies of the Government of India and the relevant state government and DISCOM authorities.
  • Applicable subsidy scheme guidelines, including the PM Surya Ghar programme and state rooftop solar policies, when claimed on your behalf.
  • Municipal and electrical safety requirements applicable at the installation site.
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) and statutory tax obligations.
  • Data protection, consumer protection and e-commerce regulations applicable to our services and mobile app.

3. Installation, safety and workmanship

Safety is a core part of how we work. Our practices include:

  • Certified and trained installation teams following standard electrical safety procedures.
  • Structured mounting, secure cable routing and proper earthing of the system.
  • DC-side isolation, protection devices and safe disconnection points as required by the applicable standards.
  • Pre-commissioning checks, functional testing and a supervised handover of the system.
  • A defined after-sales support and service process for any issues reported after installation.

4. Customer and consumer compliance

4.1 Fair business practices

  • Transparent quotations and clear communication of what is included in the scope of supply and installation.
  • Written order confirmation and warranty documentation.
  • Honest presentation of generation estimates, which are indicative and depend on site and weather conditions.
  • No unauthorised or misleading use of government programme names, logos or claims.

4.2 Consumer complaint mechanism

Where a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may approach the appropriate consumer forum as provided under applicable consumer protection law.

5. Data protection and privacy

We collect and process personal information only as necessary to provide our services, and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our practices include:

  • Collecting only the information needed for the service you have requested.
  • Encryption of data in transit and secure storage of account credentials.
  • Restricted access to customer data within our team and service providers, on a need-to-know basis.
  • Retention of data only for as long as necessary, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Advertising and marketing

Our marketing communications are accurate and do not make false or misleading claims about savings, performance or incentives. We respect your marketing preferences and provide an easy way to opt out of promotional communications.

7. Sustainability and responsible sourcing

Our business exists to accelerate clean energy adoption, and we aim to operate responsibly throughout the value chain — from the equipment we source to the disposal of packaging and end-of-life components in line with applicable e-waste and environmental regulations.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

This page is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India.
